ENERGYSYS is designed from the ground up to make upgrades simple and painless. There's a clear separation between the product and the applications we build on it, like production reporting or reserves management. We release new versions with new features every six months, and sometimes more frequently, giving our customers access to the latest and greatest functionality. There's nothing to do. Nothing to pay.
And things are moving fast. We have the best technology and feature set available today, and we want it to stay that way. So we're always innovating. Always creating. We continually aim for the gold standard, independent of out competition. There is no comparable offering on the market today.
Now available in ENERGYSYS 4.3
The third upgrade release of our ENERGYSYS 4 product made its debut in May 2008. And what a release! Early adopters have described it as “an attractive incremental enhancement to a product that was already outstanding” and “a release that confirms the position of ENERGYSYS as the leading On Demand solution in the industry.”
The release included a range of new features and minor enhancements that were delivered to all existing subscribers without additional fees, and without significant interruption to current service levels. No expensive upgrade cycles. No extra fees.
Advanced Production Reporting Application
The ENERGYSYS Production Reporting Application gets a major upgrade as part of this release. We've taken the knowledge we've gained by reviewing the operation of a large number of assets, and built it into a comprehensive application for managing and reporting on your asset data. It's the fastest way to a full-featured system, guaranteed.
There are screens for managing fields, wells, and partners; processes for data import and data validation; and a set of standard reports. It's everything you need to run your asset. And it doesn't stop there. We've also got support for well tests, and we provide standardised allocation procedures that compute well, field and partner allocations. In short, for many customers the tool will be a perfect fit from day one, and there will be no need for any configuration. Just add data.
But if you do want to modify a rule, or add a new object, you'll have all of the power, configurability and ease-of-use of the ENERGYSYS platform right there at your fingertips.
Clean new look and feel
We know that the appearance of a system is important in making it easier to understand and use, and we're always looking at ways to make the system look better and work better. Bottom line, we think this latest release is our prettiest yet!
Workflow
Workflow's a tricky business, whether you want to run a sequence of allocations over a number of days or months, or develop some sophisticated branching logic that runs rules only if certain conditions are met. In short, it's hard to give you the power you need without making it too complicated to use, and fancy graphical tools do little to fix this. We think our workflow solution is the best we've ever seen, and makes chaining and conditional branching of processes as easy as pie.
For example, let's say you want to re-run the daily allocation for every day in June. In the time it takes just to launch someone else's graphical configuration tool, you'll have completed the job in ENERGYSYS. But if you want to get more sophisticated, like checking the results of each allocation and terminating the process when particular conditions are met, then that's easy too.

Scheduler upgrade
This release of ENERGYSYS includes a major upgrade to our scheduler functionality, allowing you to run jobs when you want. When combined with our new workflow it makes unattended operation a realistic option.
Secure FTP file uploader
Loading data into ENERGYSYS 4.3 is even easier with our new secure FTP option. Load your files to a password-protected site dedicated to your use, and either upload data yourself or let the system do it automatically whenever a file arrives.
